Dr. Draman Represents ACEPA at the IPPFoRB Oxford Academy

The IPPFoRB Academy is a unique and interactive residential training course for parliamentarians that provides capacity building in the field of freedom of religion or belief (FoRB). As part of this year’s 6th IPPFoRB Academy, our Executive Director, Dr. Rasheed Draman participated in the training which was from the 10th to 13th of September. Parliamentarians from Southeast Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa have gathered at St. Hugh’s College for this important event. This training aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in safeguarding religious freedoms around the world.

At the academy, participants had the opportunity to collaborate with distinguished experts in the field, engage in in-depth discussions on crucial issues related to Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB), and work on developing concrete action plans to support religious freedom both locally and internationally.
