Komitsè AMOUZOUVI

A Togolese national, Komitsè AMOUZOUVI is an economist and planner with a degree in development economics.

A development generalist through his training at the University of Lomé and capacity-building at the Centre International d’Etudes pour le Développement Local (CIEDEL) in Lyon, France, and his career in various positions of responsibility in the public sector (local authorities), civil society organizations and GIZ/German Technical Cooperation, he works as an expert consultant, trainer, lecturer and specialist in territorial engineering, decentralization, local development, local planning and gender and development.

He was an expert in decentralization and governance with GIZ/German Technical Cooperation, and head of the Savanes region office in northern Togo. He was also coordinator of the Programme d’Appui à la Gouvernance Locale Durable des territoires (PAGLoD) funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), West Africa Office.

Currently in charge of the “inclusive legislatures for gender-sensitive policies” project in support of Togo’s National Assembly with the African Centre for Parliamentary Affairs (ACEPA).
