She also serves as the Parliamentary Liaison and Project Officer for the Inclusive Legislatures for Gender Responsive Policies project. She has in the past led the implementation of a number of projects including the first phase of ACEPA’s Data for Accountability Project, which supports the Parliament of Ghana to monitor the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals using data and evidence, and a STAR-Ghana funded project which was centered on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.
She also coordinates the activities of the West African Association of Public Accounts Committees (WAAPAC), whose secretariat is currently hosted by ACEPA. With seventeen (17) years experience of active engagement in the field of Parliamentary Democracy and Governance, she has experience designing and delivering courses to parliamentary and non-parliamentary audiences. Prior to joining ACEPA, she worked with the Canadian Parliamentary Centre, serving in various roles including being the Gender focal person for the Centre’s Africa Parliamentary Strengthening Program for Budget Oversight (APSP), a program that supported the Parliaments of Benin, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. She has also previously worked with the Parliament of Ghana as an Assistant Clerk, supporting the Committee on Gender and Children.
