ILGRP Team Makes Courtesy Call to Togo’s Speaker of the National Assembly

Team members from the implementing partner organizations of the Global Affairs Canada / Affaires mondiales Canada-funded Inclusive Legislatures for Gender Responsive Policies (ILGRP) project, Dr. Rasheed Draman, the Executive Director for African Centre for Parliamentary Affairs- ACEPA, Mr. Peter Hadwen, the Program Director of Africa & MENA, Parliamentary Centre in Canada, and the Project Officer of the #ILGRP project based in Togo, Komitse Amouzouvi, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly of Togo, His Excellency Sevon-Tépé Kodjo Adédzé.

The purpose of the visit was to express gratitude to His Excellency and to the National Assembly for the invaluable support throughout the implementation of the ILGRP project and also reiterate the project team’s commitment to continue its partnership with the Assembly to work towards a more gender-sensitive Parliament.
