Consultative Meetings on issues of Human Rights

A delegation made up of three steering committee members of AfriPAHR was in Ghana from Wednesday 23rd June to Sunday 28th June for consultative meetings with key stakeholders on issues of Human Rights with special attention on Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB).

This forms part of the network’s on-going work with the International Panel of Parliamentarians for Freedom of Religion or Belief (IPPFoRB). The Africa Centre for Parliamentary Affairs (ACEPA), Accra, Ghana, was instrumental in organizing and executing these consultative meetings. Overall, the visit was in line with the AfriPAHR’s objective of establishing dialogue, discovering facts and collecting information aimed at promoting the right to freedom of religion or belief for all persons in Africa.
